I had almost given up using rechargeable Batteries. Unless you used them in 30days they lost so much of there charge that they were usless. These don't discharge on the shelf. I can still rely on them being fresh months later. Much cheaper in the long run- they work when I need them. If you have ever grabbed a flash for a impromptu shot only to find that the batteries you had charged a few weeks ago are dead you know what I mean.

From motor drives to hot shoe strobes to LED flash lights, the Sanyo Eneloops rock. Why keep buying alkalines? No more bunny batteries for me, I only use Eneloops.

I discovered these batteries several years ago when I was looking for a cheaper and less wasteful way to power my camera. Now I use them to keep my keyboard and mouse powered. They come almost, if not all the way, charged. And they seem to last forever!

eneloop rechargeable batteries are why I use rechargeable batteries in my flashs. They hold a charge when not in use. I alway feel sure they have plenty of power when pulling them out of storage for those extra long shoots.

These batteries hold up to Sanyo's claims. They're by far the best I've tried. They hold a charge a long time. They recycle fast all the way through to depletion. And they have a long self life, holding a charge when not in use. All I need now is a set of AAA's...

This series of batteries far exceeded my expectations. They are quick to charge, but slow to deplete. Great new type of power for any product that requires batteries.

One of the most common questions any professional photographer will get is, "What's in your bag?"
The new, improved eneloop... HR-3UTGA (AA)
Eneloop - ready to use rechargeable battery. Since its launch in November 2005 eneloop has become well-known around the world as it has revolutionized the consumer-use rechargeable battery segment with its unique features:
• Rechargeable approximately 1,500 times
• Coming pre-charged, making it usable immediately after purchase
• Its unique design departing from the look of traditional batteries
What is the difference between the "old" and the "new" improved eneloop?
• An extra of 500 charging cycles - instead of being rechargeable 1000 times, the new eneloop is even rechargeable up to 1500 times.
• Improved self-dischcharge. Even though the self discharge of the old eneloop was already very impressive, you can store the new eneloop for 3 years and still it will retain 75% of its capacity.
• You need a battery, which is reliable even when having cold temperatures? Before eneloop was suitable for temperatures as low as -10°C - now even until -20°C.
• The new eneloop is even more environment-friendly as it is pre-charged with solar energy in Japan.
All original SANYO battery packages containing the improved eneloop have the information "Up to 1500 times" on the front.
