Shopper : Can I use these batteries with the Sony wall chargers for NH-AA?RAKESH R : I used these with a duracell wall charger and had no issues so you should be good tooPATRICK H : I think so. These batteries should be compatible with all kinds of chargers.ANDREW R : These batteries should work with most Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery chargers.
FRAN L : I just want to know if this battery will fit the ear phones I use to listen to my TV without turning the sound on so loud?CHUCK S : Seriously? These are AA batteries. They will work in any device that accepts AA batteries.JORGE G : If the headphones use AA batteries it willJULIAN J : Yes If they use AA No if they don'tSTEPHEN B : Hi Fran, if your ear phones use "AA" batteries, you will be safe using these sony "AA" batteries, as they are rated at 1.2 volts each instead of the 1.5 volts a regular Alkaline "AA" battery has. As to the sound being too loud, that is probably due to a preset the earphones have during power up. You can try the mfg. website help section to see if there is a fix for this, such as holding the volume down button while pressing the power button. Hope this helps! ....SteveJOHN L : Question is unclear If your earphone uses AA batteries, then they will fit Batteries do NOT affect the volume of amplification an amplifier gives (unless amp is overdriven)ANDREW R : These batteries should work in most devices that require standard "AA" batteries.
TERRY S : What battery charger is recomended..none listed with battery accessories ?LAWRENCE C : I use the Charge that came with my Kodak Z980, no problem. The 2000 mAh is great for a days use of both pictures and video with the camera.PAUL B : I have been using this one.... La Crosse Technology BC700-CBP Alpha Power Battery Charger... I would say, any charger that shows the charge rate, 200, 500, 700 etc,,,, Should work well for you..... Hope this helped... PaulWALTER T : Any charger that is compatible with NiMH batteries should be ok -- it partly depends on how finicky you are about maintaining these. Lots of people swear by the Maha Powerex MH-C9000 <a href="http://www.adorama.com/BYMHC9000.html," target="_blank">http://www.adorama.com/BYMHC9000.html,</a> but it's pretty pricey. These batteries are the same type as Sanyo eneloops, so this one will work, too : <a href="http://www.adorama.com/BYSEAA4WCN.html" target="_blank">http://www.adorama.com/BYSEAA4WCN.html</a> (though theoretically, the batteries won't be as well maintained over the long haul, and you have no control over charging current, etc. -- but given the price difference, you can buy yourself a few more sets of batteries!) Hope that helps!Luis L : I have two chargers that I use, the La Crosse Technology BC-700 Alpha Power Battery Charger and the Powerex Maha MH-C801D. I guess it depends on what you are you using the batteries for. I use the batteries to power off-camera flashes, the Maha charges 8 batteries at the same time and can refresh them as well. I did a lot of research on these two and bought the La Crosse first and the Maha second, both are excellent chargers for these batteries.MARK C : There are a lot to choose from, but I use a LaCrosse BC-900 charger and it's worked very well.

Excellent Charger!

This charger is very well designed both in shape and function. The discharge function is quite useful for the protection of the charger and batteries. It works even better with Sony's rechargeable batteries.

Capacity drops down after a few cycles

After a few recharges, the capacity dropped fast. One dropped all the way down to 678 mAH Tried the refresh function on the charger a few times but never got close to the 2000 mAH stated on the package. Not the Sony quality that I expected.

Excellent Experience

My original purchase was identified as an 8 pack. When it arrived as a 12 pack for the same price, I was pleasantly surprised. Excellent service from Adorama, as usual. I haven't used the batteries yet, but I expect as a Sony product they will be fine. They don't expire until 2017.

Honest responsible retailing!

I assume that the batteries work like batteries normally do. I purchased two 8 packs at an extremely good price which turned out to be an inadvertant price mistake. Adorama instead sent one 12 pack for what I had expected to pay for a single 8 pack, and honestly explained what had occured. You can't beat that.

pretty good for the price

I have used this to charge and restore some 20 AA and AAA size NiMH batteries and they are all working very well (some of them have not been used since 2009) after the charge. With the price I paid I am very satisfy with its performance.

Great deal on batteries

The batteries are good but the package they came in was torn open and the battery scattered everywhere. But still this was a good price.

So far, just as good as Eneloops

I use 6 of these Sony's for a Canon 5D and can shoot all day long (1.5K+ shots) for wedding photography, they are a great alternative if you have a grip for your dslr. I also use one set of the Sony's in a 580EXII and use it manually between 1/8 & 1/4 power and its good for 300+ shots with quick recycle times.

Very good product and fast shipping

the rechargeable batteries are what I exactly was looking for. After ~20 hours initial charge, I put them in my Omron BP monitor, which I am using daily, and I don't have to buy new batteries for it any more. A big save.

They're batteries.

They're batteries. They power my camera. I haven't had them long - they went in my camera as soon after I got them after my camera displayed 'CHANGE THE BATTERIES". They arrived pre-charged as claimed, and seemed to work nicely, but I can't yet say how long they'll last or how many charges they'll take. They're made in China. I mention (above) that I wouldn't reccomend them. I just don't reccomend batteries - and I had to leave an answer. They're just a commodity. I would have bought another brand but I needed some, and had been putting it off, saw the ad, and shipping was free.

I would purchase again (and have!)

I only bought 2 batteries to start. They last along time when charged. I had no trouble with them and just ordered 2 more sets of 4! They last much longer in items like the flip camera and the dog's toe nail grinder where regular batteries get "eaten up" quickly.

What can I say?

They're great. I put electricity in and they dole it out to various electrical devices. I use 'em primarily to power my Speedlites.

Doesn't last as long as hoped

No real problems with the battery I am just surprised that the charge didn't last longer. I used them, fully charged, in my camera off and on during a 4 hour event and when I went to use it a week later, it only lasted about 15 minutes before the battery was totally dead. Other than that, it is an acceptable product.

Sorry, I do not recommend for purchase

The battery purchased only worked well for a month in our cannon camera. Afetr that what ever way we charge, it does not get charged to work in camera. Battery gets hot while charging. The charger it self stops after a charge of one hour or so. We tried to charge making the charger off and on and continually for so many days but there is no result.

Exaggerated mAh

Decent product. One gripe was the capacity. Broke batteries in and only got between 1500 and 1650 mAh per battery. Other than capacity issue batteries working fine.

"PRE-CHARGED" Rechargable Batteries

By Batty T.

"PRE-CHARGED" Rechargeable batteries NEED TO BE CHARGED before first use. There IS a difference and a reason whey they are labeled "PRE-CHARGED". Those labeled Pre-Charged indicates a rechargeable battery that once fully charged, will hold and retain that charge for a long time (months) if not used, and can be then used at any time without needed to charge them. If not labeled "Pre-Charged" they are a different kind of battery, which once fully charged, will only remain at that fully charg...

When the price is right... load up

By chris w.

All the research I did seems to indicate these are re-packaged Sanyo Eneloops. I have used all types of batteries in my flashes over the years and the eneloops have proven the most reliable for fast recycle times and long life - so when the Sony's went I sale I loaded up (nothing lasts forever so it was time to replace many of the Sanyo's). All indications so far lead me to believe my research was correct - the Sony's behave exactly like the Sanyo's.

Designed for today's electronic devices, Sony 2000mAh rechargeable batteries last up to three times longer than standard alkaline batteries. Pre-charged and ready to use right out of the package, these economical, environmentally-friendly Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries can be recharged up to 1,000 times. Additionally, each battery maintains 75% of the charge after one year and features an automatic charge cut-off timer.
