This product was hard to find, C2G seems to have nearly everything. Newer Notebooks put the headphone jack in the front, I bought a 90 degree cable; but it had M-M ends. This product let me connect to the speakers system.

It did exactly what what it said it would. the only problem I can see is it's not easy to tell if the connection is seated properly.

THE COUPLERS ARE HARD TO FORCE A GOOD CONTACT. IN MY TIGHT WORKING SPACE THIS IS A PROBLEM. A 3.5MM 1' CABLE WOULD WORK MUCH BETTER, BUT NO ONE SELLS ONE.

Hello, I ordered this to connect my XBox to my headset system. And, also use it to hookup another speaker sound system. If you need to couple 2 males together this is a great item to do it. I highly recommend it. Also I will be ordering from this company again before long, some cables to fit another project I'm going to start on her before long. All items I ordered where of GREAT QUALITY.

The product description was not clear to me, apparently. I needed something to join two ends of cables that have RCA (phono) connectors. This device will not fulfill that function - not enough "grip" length. Whatever it really is, it is well made.

This connector is made to take 2 1/8th inch stereo cords that are too short and connect them to make 1 cord that is long enough. It was stiff to insert the 1/8 inch males into it, but the connection was very secure. I used it to connect 2 3ft cords together so my 3rd passenger could hook up his ipod from the back seat and be our DJ!!
