I use this lense on my canon 7D so the focal lengths are tighter. This works for me since I love to extract shots of individuals from busy city streets. It's beautiful to use in a crowd, not too big, perfect for pulling out a portrait. This is my first L lense so I am blown away by the picture quality. Details are precise. Faces glow.

Great overall lens. I used ir on European vacation and got great photos. Preciously had 400 mm zoom and 28mm. This was a great lens to use for family events, proms, potraits and scenery. It was recommended by a knowledgeable photo enthusiast and it has served me well for many purposes. it is a bit bulky and heavy.
