Questions & Answers

Shopper : Is there room or clips to hang a tripod and glide cam? Also can it hold a canon 80d with 18-55mm and 75-300mm and accessories for the camera?GREGORY S : I have a Rebel T7i. I have the two kit lenses that came with it (18-55mm and the 55-250mm), plus a tamron 150-600mm. There is plenty of room for the additional batteries, if you want to keep them with the camera and lenses. There are pouches and velcro straps on each side for tri-pods. I have carried my tripod in the pouch and straps, but the bag is almost too short for my tripod. I wish the bag was about 5 inches taller and it would be great with my tripod. Otherwise, this bag should do well for you.AMANDA S : Yes to all of your questions. My 80D and gear fits great. You can actually attached three tripods if needed.MITCHELL E : Wow. For the money, this backpack is great. I strap my Manfrotto BeFree carbon fiber tripod to the bottom and have plenty of room for all my gear. I will say that it could use a more substantial hip belt to help with weight distribution, but for the price, its great.
ROBERT R : Is there a way to secure a tripod?Robert E : Yes it has straps on the outside that can be used to tie down a tripod or monopod. They attach along the left and right side of the packDAVID L : I sometimes use the straps on the side or the bottom to carry my tripod..
Dave S : Will this backpack fit under an airline seat?DONGLING S : Yes!MARK H : Yes, but I personally prefer the overhead storage compartment!ALAN T : Yes it could fit under a seat. I stored mine in the overhead compartment.EDMOND C : Yes, it will fit under an airline seat. The external dimensions of this bag is about 16"x12"x8".KAREN S : I've traveled with it many times without issue.MICHELLE M : Yes, it fits under an airline seat with no issues.

Great bag for the money!

This is my second purchase of this bag. I used one for years, many years ago. I stepped away from photography for personal reasons, selling all my gear. Now I?m getting back into it, I went with a bag that packs the best bang for a buck! The only issue I?m having is, it?s a very tight fit with a 1D body and L lens. But it still works! I may eventually spring for a larger bag as I accumulate more equipment but right now it?s carrying Mt camera, 2 lenses and a flash. Still got a little room! Very pleased with it!!

Great bag, good quality.

It looks in real life just like the picture. All things are great to some that will not work for others. Judge the size of the bag against the quantity of gear you want to transport. Also, decide if this is to be a day bag or a transport bag to point of use. I am using it to transport gear that requires a limited amount of components. Once I get to point of use, I switch to a day bag for body, two lens and batteries. The bag appears to be of good quality for the price point.

You get what you pay for

This backpack is very sturdy, has more than adequate storage space for all of my lenses and accessories and is very comfortable. It is strongly build with high quality materials and workmanship. No complaints at all.

14 years later

I finally had to replace this pack. It isn't great at any one thing. It feels a little cheap. It isn't flashy. The straps aren't perfect, and the elastic string stretches out. The padding is ok. It's only water resistant, not truly waterproof. BUT...I beat the heck out of this thing on three continents, traveling over 20,000 miles. It lasted from college to today. I got 14 years out of it. It was my companion in monsoon rains, hurricanes, desert sand, mountain storms, and all sorts of nasty conditions. So, I'm getting it again, and I'm glad they still make this quirky thing.

A well-made, well-designed and highly adaptable photographer's backpack.

The backpack was exactly what I expected. It's sturdy, and has lots of external and internal slots, pockets, and compartments for storing all the stuff we carry with our cameras. The interior contains several movable padded dividers that you can configure to fit your cameras and lenses. The outside offers several ways to attach things to the outside of the backpack. It seems well-made from good quality materials. I'm very pleased with it. I would certainly recommend it.

So satisfied I bought 2.

This is the 2nd Canon backpack I've purchased. The first one has served me well for about 10 years. I'm confident it will last at least another 10 years.

A perfect bag for the "Run and Gun" shooter.

I've been using one of these endlessly for 10 years now and have put it through everything under the sun. It's still in perfect condition. Extremely durable, light, and offers great usability with plenty of options for organization.

Just what I needed

I needed a bigger bag and this fits all my gear perfectly, zippers are smooth, comfy padded straps, plus it says Canon on it, wouldn't ask for anything more.

Good and serviceable

Excellent photography backpack without breaking the bank. Will not accommodate a SLR with a 600mm telephoto lense attached. Then again few backpacks if any in this price range that can. But all in all it is a good addition to your camera carriers.

Great Size!

I purchased this bag for its price and size. The most important thing was size. I have a much larger bag from a big name manufacturer but it is simply too large for the photo hikes I take in my area (Great Smokies). This bag is large enough to carry everything I want while being light enough for long hikes. It fits the bill!

Not a bad bag.

I have had this camera bag for a little over a year. It's not a bad bag. Wish I would have gotten something a little bigger, but at the time it was all I needed. I use a Canon 90D with a 50-250mm lens, a prime lens, a 18-55 lens, and a 12-18 lens. It's hold them all well plus a few filters and flash. No complaints about the bag itself, just my personal preference.

An Outdated Design

I've owned nearly every Canon bag. They are very well made. This one is the exception to the rule. The design is outdated, there is no place for a laptop or tablet. The shoulder straps are not well padded, and they tend to twist when you put a fully loaded pack on. I'm surprised Canon still sells this model and hasn't updated it, it's way past due.

Canon Deluxe backpack camera bag

I'm really happy with the Canon Deluxe backpack camera bag that I purchased. It is exactly as advertised and seems to be quality materials and construction It's a great size but just a little small for my needs. It'll probably be perfect when I finally get around to upgrading my gear.

Product 7423

Camera Bag is just the right size for my needs. It holds my 90D, important lens, filters and camera grip. It is well constructed and is just the right size to carry or place on my back for extended walks. I also like the green and black two colors on the bag.

The bag isn't so great

Just mediocre at best. Not a lot of storage room and the inserts are cumbersome and lacking in function. We made it work but it seems like use as a camera bag was an after thought rather than by design.

Carries lots of gear, but not comfy for long trips

If it's space you're looking for, this is the bag for you! My favorite feature is that it carries all of my photo gear while still having plenty of space for my personal items. I was able to easily back my Canon 90D and three lenses (100mm macro, 75-300, 18-55 kit lens along with my battery charger, external phone charger, wallet, gloves, beanie, and extra jacket. The bag has much more space than I expected from the photos, and the quality of the materials is very good. If it's comfort you're looking for, you might not be overly pleased. The bag would be better suited for transportation to a fixed location, or a shoot with little movement. I took this bag on a few 3-5 mile hikes, and it does not sit comfortably on my back. (I'm a petite female, so that may play a factor. ^_^) The straps pull the top part of the bag away from my back, no matter how much I tighten them. The bag is bottom heavy, and the bottom hits and rubs up against my back. During the hikes I was really wishing I hadn't brought the bag. Overall, I recommend this bag for it's storage capacity, and if you're not planning on going hiking with it. I'll be looking for a different bag that is suitable for long adventures.

Sturdy, durable, comfortable, spacious multipurpose Canon camera backpack

Product itself is great quality, sturdy build, durable materials. Main pocket is perfect for big body DSLR with lens mounted, along with 3-4 other lenses. Contents are secure and well protected. Outer pockets are very well sized and super handy. Pack itself is nicely adjustable and wears comfortably out on hikes and roaming around taking pics. Quick access to swap out lenses on the fly. Overall very satisfied with this product and would highly recommend to anyone and would readily buy another for a gift for an outdoors shutterbug. Adorama service and delivery was fantastic!

Great bag for a mid-sized kit

By Magnus

I personally used the pack to store, and transport my whole kit. Which included a body w/battery grip, 4 lenses, full sized flash gun, manual, spare batteries, charger, & filters. On my most recent trip, I also found room for a paperback, P&S digital camera, mp3 player, & several DVDs. For the casual photographer to enthusiast I think this is a fantastic bag for a shooter with the same amount of equipment as me.....maybe even a little more.
