I bought this pack and almost sent my camera back to CANON. The person from canon was surprised that a EOS T2 would be coming back for repair. Before I sent it back I tried some cr2 batteries and the camera worked. PROBLEM is the battery pack,it just does not work. I would recomend not having one of these

Makes my Rebel K2 much easier to handle, esp. in vertical/portrait compositions. I also like being able to use AA batteries rather than CR2s. The usual drawback of these battery packs/grips applies here - increased weight and a slightly bulkier camera.

This is one of those things you buy for your camera and never regret it. I have saved a lot of money by using 4AA rechargeable batteries in the BP-220 instead of buying 2 of the more expensive CR2 batteries my camera requires. The BP-220 has a nice grip with a built in shutter button. There is also a tripod mount on the bottom. I highly suggest this piece of product for anyone who enjoys photography and wants a reliable battery source that is easy to use and isn’t bulky.

Designed for the Rebel Ti Camera, BP-220 uses either 4 AA batteries to work as an additional power source for the camera. The BP-220 also functions as a vertical grip with an ergonomically placed shutter release button and on/off switch.
