Would buy this product again

Need to remove lens hood when using camera's built-in flash. Otherwise, there's a shadow at the bottom of the picture.

Most Liked Negative Review

Not as good as I thought

I figured being a canon product it would work well, but I found that if you flip it around and try to use the flash it leaves a shadow on the image.

Works well.

The lens hood works well. I use it on the canon 18-200 IS EF-S lens. When "stored" on the lens, you can still work the zoom.

Took too long to get it!

By

from Washington DC  -  Hobbyist/Enthusiast

I added this lens to my bag and didn't know if I should but the hood...waited and took several photos at events without it and then compared those shots to another lens with a hood and saw a difference that wanted to ensure was going to be there...so I bought the hood...went with Canon as it hard and durable and will last.
