Lost Lens Hood in Yellowstone National Park in July 2018 - Replaced direct from Canon - Expensive - It DOES COST MORE to go First Class - DO NOT purchase any NON Canon Products to be used with your GREAT Canon "L" Lens

If you shoot out side you need this

I didn't think using a hood was all that great but just haveing it for that one time you need it is so worth it. This hood fit tight and reveres to stay out of the way tell you need it. One thing I used this hood for was keeping small rain drops off my lens in bad weather.Yes I would buy it agine

It is OEM - not much else to say.

It is Canon quality. It will break if you drop your 5D Mkii off of a table and it lands on the hood.

I lost the hood for my 24-105mm (or I thought I had anyway) so I ordered a new one from [...] - as they had the best price for the Canon version. It just feels wrong to walk around without my lens hood on!
