I always seem to need n+1 lens caps. Thankfully they're cheap. However it is annoying that the cap is indexed in only one position instead of multiple and the marks on the lens and the cap are not easy to see.

We all know Canon lenses are the best...so when you're searching for a lens cap, obviously Canon lens caps are the gold standard in lens caps. While there isn't really much to review about this particular product, I was very impressed with the ease of purchase through the Adorama website, the speed in which the item was shipped, and the follow-up from the Adorama team to ensure I was happy with my experience. Keep one of these together with a body cap in your camera bag. When changing or storing lenses keep one of these on it to keep dust and dirt from entering the camera body. Less expensive, faster and easier than cleaning the sensor and chamber.

This rear lens cap is an exact replacement for a Canon cap I had lost. Nice to know that OEM is still available. I like using both front and rear lens caps for glass that is not in use. Authentic Canon caps are superior in fit, feel, function and longevity when used on Canon EF lenses.
