I purchased this projector for use in a church youth room. We use it to project PowerPoint on during class twice a week and random other times for movies and video games. I have never tested to see where you begin to lose clarity but we project on a screen something like 12x8 feet. It works great for all of the above with clear and bright images. We have been using it for 9 months now without having to replace the bulb.
