I have an old Canon FT film camera and needed a diopter for it since they are not readily available I tried this one. The fit was tight but it did go on and work splendidly. The only drawback was in the rubber eyecup I got it on but the fit was extremely tight but workable on this camera. If you are in need of a diopter for an old FT give it a shot it will work.

Wrong rubber frame - Canon description i

By

Lost the rubber frame cushion for my Canon Digital Rebel XTi and this came up as the replacement in what I was able to find online. However, it was not actually what is required for my camera. I have yet to find the correct part and note that Canon's information is not very useful in this case.

Shopper  I have the Canon T3i and somehow lost the eye cup from around the eyepiece! Is this the correct replacement part that I need? Thanks!
IVY L  I had the same problem more than once. That is the correct part. Just a small dab of glue when you put the new one and you should have the same problem again.
Shopper  I lost my eye piece for my canon XSi camera. Does this part fit? and is it both the plastic and rubber parts?
