About Cassida M18

The Cassida M18 Counterfeit Detector uses powerful UV illumination to make the security thread visible on even the most worn or faded bills. The security thread in US bills is sometimes difficult to detect, especially on older bills. A directional UV light shows the security thread easily and makes it easier to verify currency under typical workplace lighting conditions.

Cassida M18 Features

  • ID and Credit Card Verification: The high-intensity UV lamp of the M18 counterfeit detector brightly illuminates UV-reflective security marks on driver's licenses, credit cards, checks, passports and other forms of identification
  • Universal Compatibility: Use the M18 counterfeit detector to show UV-reflective marks on US and Canadian dollars, Pesos, Euros and many other currencies
  • Watermark Detection: Check watermarks at the same time with the backlight built into the inspection platform. Both UV and watermark lamps can be on at the same time for quick authentication
  • Compact Design: The M18 requires less desk space than most other UV detectors with a base measuring only 7.3x4.7"
