Great Bracket

I take mostly vertical portrait type photos. The photo world revolves around landscape-oriented photographers. This flash bracket with my small camera mounted vertically on an L-bracket works perfectly. Most other brackets won't align the flash properly in this position. It also works well mounting the camera horizontally and flipping it for vertical shots if that's the way you want to do it. (That's what it was specifically designed for) The bracket is much higher quality than I expected for this price. It's not only very sturdy, it's the nicest looking flash bracket I've ever seen.

for 5d mark II without batterygrip

By

from Tokyo, Japan  -  Photo Enthusiast

Easier to hold the camera up with this one, than a camera mounted flash+camera alone. Great size for 5dMark II without batterygrip at bottom of it - I am a 'girl' so I prefer things lighter. Cannot compare to other similar products though - but it's great to be able to have the flash vertical above the camera for shots; camera turned horizontal & vertical!

It's great for a flash extension

By

I use this product for a flash extension that is away from the camera, so I can add soft boxes and flash filters.

Great bracket

Does the job it is intended for...It looks heavy on the photo, but it's really light-weight

Glad I bought it.

Bought a Pentax K 20 with a 540 flash and this is a perfect compliment to both. Works very smooth and the price is right. Glad I bought it.

Great for moving SB-600 flash unit off the camera which eleminates most red eye, especially when photographing children - bright blue eyed children. Also great for changing angle of flash to enhance detail.
