STEVE T : what's the difference between this bracket and the  Custom Brackets CB Folding-TA Flash Rotating Bracket?
JAMES S : Will this bracket work with the Flashpoint 360 TTL system?MICHAEL S : Not sure. I use it with Norman 400B. It works great, just be careful folding it, you can get your fingers caught in the folds.
Shopper : I have a 600EX-RT speedlite and a Canon Mark III 5D. Will these work with this equipment? I'm not sure how the flash screws into the mount.DARRELL C : There is a hot shoe adapted that connects to the hot shoe of your camera and screws to the top of the bracket so it should work fineFRANK C : Assuming both items are Canon, you can get a HOT SHOE EXTENSION CORD. It has a hot shoe connection on each end. One end goes into the hot shoe of your camera, and the other on the top of this bracket. Then attach the flash to this hot shoe on the bracket. The cord about $40. The other way is to use a wireless remote transmitter on the camera, and a receiver on the bracket, and the flash goes in this receiver. POCKET WIZARD makes a good set, but they are expensive. Vella makes a less costly similar item. Be advised. This combination, especially with the flash you are using is heavy, and may prove to be a bit cumbersome. My Canon 550 EX is. Hope this helps.BURT R : Works great!!! Functional and beautiful, an essential piece of gear

Custom Brackets makes a terrific product. Amazing fit and finish, all machined parts. If you are in an event photographer in the need of a flash bracket this is the one to buy. It folds up to almost nothing to carry in your case. I add a mini ballhead with hot shoe and the Nikon coil cable and I'm good to go. This is one of those products that you buy once in a lifetime. I can't imagine using it enough to wear it out. I bought this one to replace one that had been stolen, and that original one was bought in 1989.

A clever flash bracket that works!

I have had flip flash brackes for years and finally found one that works with vertical grip battery pack! The design is very creative and so far it works well. I do have concern for the long run as it may get "sloppy" but it is great now. A bonus is that it folds up to a very small space and mounts up quickly. The price is right for this unit and I would recommend it for location as well as studio work. I do a lot of real estate interiors as well as family location work and have been a photographer for 40 years.

Great Value

I was going to take the plunge and buy a RRS wedding pro bracket. With the required L-plate it was $369.00. They are nice but for [$] this is a really solid well made U.S.A product, all winners for me. I shoot a D3s and it does not need the anti twist plate at all the camera has such a nice raised rubber foot for the tripod mount it doesn't budge. Just buy it if you need a bracket it won't disappoint.

Lightweight and strong

I use this bracket all of the time when shooting weddings or events. I would prefer that the bar that holds the flash were a little tighter.

Great problem solver!

This is a very compact solution for off camera flash which eliminates red eye. I bought a Manfrotto RC2 compact rapid connect adapter with plate at the same time. I mounted the rapid connector on the camera mount and the plate on the bottom. It just folds perfectly and enables me to snap the camera onto the grip, attach the speedlight and cable, and then the whole assembly onto any of my tripods and I am set up ready to go in a few seconds. It is a great solution which is with me in my camera bag. It takes up only 10" x 3" x 3 3/4 " and fits in the bottom of the pouch on the side of my bag with a camera grip and filters filling out the pouch so it is with me at all times when I am out shooting. A Great solution to a common problem and an absolute necessity!

Excellent bracket

Lightweight flexiable bracket that keeps stobe just off the camera enough to eliminate red-eye. This bracket works well with Manofrotto RC2 quickconnect brackets which I have used with all my cameras and tripods. It intergrates very well with my systems approach on shooting equipment which reduces shot setup time to the minimum. I am very pleased with how this bracket performs with its quick set-up and that it stores in the top pocket of my bag so it is with me on every shoot. Very convenient useful design.

Exactly what I needed

I can't count the number of flash brackets that I have purchased over the years; they all fell short. I use a battery grip on my Canon 40D and 50D while shooting weddings and events and have had a really hard time finding one that was sturdy and gave me adequate clearance. I like the fact that the arms lock in place but allow the flash arm to "flip". I also like the feature of the "D" rings on the flash and camera attachment points.
