I use it for macro photography

I use it to give proper support for long extention for macro photography. I screw in 2 nikon PN-11's at either end and can put a PK-13 and a PK-11A between them. Otherwise there's too much stress on the lens mounts. Works great and love the screws with the bails. That's why I purchased this bracket over similar ones.

The Custom Brackets GLM-2 Lens Plate is a 5.5" long lens plate that is ideal for use with 200mm, 300mm and 400mm telephoto lenses. It is the required plate for mounting these long lenses unto the CB Gimbal series head. It attaches to the bottom of the tripod collar foot and comes supplied with 3 mounting screws.
