I use this to hold a slave flash transmitter coupled to my SB-600. The unit is made for a CB bracket and unlike something you'll have to adapt, this matches perfectly. There is no twist nor wobble and the transmitter remains firmly attached to the bracket. I wouldn't play around trying to jury-rig something else to the bracket. If you are serious about your photography, get this if you plan to use additional accessories with your bracket
