THIS UNIT IS GREAT FOR THE MONEY,YOU CAN'T BEAT IT,YOU WON'T BELIEVE YOU PAID [$] FOR IT!!! THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THE SPEAKER WIRES,THERE TO LIGHT OF A GAUGE,FOR GOOD QUALITY AUDIO!!! I USED 16GAUGE SPEAKER CABLE FOR ALL FIVE SPEAKERS AND THE SUBWOOFER.THE SOUND IS INCREDIBLE,THE BASS WILL SHAKE YOUR HOUSE!!! I TESTED THE SYSTEM WITH THE MOVIE "INDEPENDENCE DAY"(WILL SMITH)AND I WAS REALLY GLAD THAT I PURCHASED THIS UNIT!!! THE ONLY THING I MIGHT DO IS UPGRADE THE SPEAKERS THE PLAYER/RECEIVER IS EXCELLENT!!!

I use this surround sound in my master bedroom. It's got good sound quality and it was a great price. I've had problems with the DVD player becoming shakey and creating loud noises. It also causes the image on the screen to freeze temporarily when adjusting the volume. That's my biggest concern with the system. Overall it's a great buy and I'd recommend it, but only to people that aren't looking for a PERFECT solution. This isn't a BOSE so don't expect that kind of quality.
