I was looking for a sturdy copy stand without paying a lot of money. This copy stand is built really well for money. I will be using this stand for macrophotography.

As Advertised

Well made with some incidental assembly required which also serves to make the copy stand easy to break down for storage. Column is box shaped and camera bracket moves easily up and down with a counterweight spring.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
ROBERT Y  To photograph LP Covers
erhan s  I have a cannon EOS 7D, wondering if this stand can hold the weight?
JEFF R  It is a pretty solid stand. Your camera body does weigh about 50% more than mine, so I don't know for sure, but I would be very surprised if the stand couldn't handle it.
Shopper  Would I be able to photograph drawings that are 22 x 30 inches?
HAROLD A  It all depends on the lens you use. I was easily able to photograph a 14" long seedling with a 55mm macro lens at about 2/3rd column extension. I have a 28-200 lens that has a minimal focal length of 0.5 m, so that lens would easily full frame a 22 * 30 if you used a cardboard or poster board backer for the drawing.
