I bought th e smaller flashlight first and it is very good.This one is worth the upgrade! Wayyy easier to charge,excellent focusing beam,and much more powerfull.I have the large competitor model that has been around for years,and this is equal if not better. Spend the extra dollars and get what you would definitely buy if you could get your hands on and try them both.No disappointments!!

I've had this flashlight since April 2020 and when I say it hasn't missed a beat, I'm not lying! I wear this flashlight on my belt in a Snap On holster and I use it every day as an Ag Service Technician. It is by far the best investment I've made. I love the fact that I don't have to remove the battery to charge it and I love the Slide Focus w/ the ability to lock it into position. The construction of the barrel makes it super durable and weather resistant. This flashlight hasn't lived an easy life, but no need to worry with Coast offering a Lifetime Warranty! Pair it up with the holster of your choice and you have a rock solid EDC inspection light!

This flashlight fits well in your hand and in your pocket. It comes with all the accessories including an extra battery. The adjustable beam is excellent. This is my everyday carry for work and personal use. I have bought 3 of them and gave 2 away as gifts. I wore out the switch and Coast sent me a new flashlight instead of replacing just the switch. This will be the last flashlight you will ever need and is worth every penny.

These small lights are awesome! Don?t let the size fool you, these are very bright and with the adjustable focus it can also shine far. Great for having in the car or backpack. The pouch makes it handy to carry for maintenance or out and about. It comes with lanyard, a wall mount in case you want to keep it handy by the bed or a door. The provided AA battery or the 2 rechargeable batteries with car, USB, and 110v chargers make this a complete quality system.

I received this flashlight as a gift 7 years ago and used it pretty much every day in my job working on Navy ships as well as around the house. About a month ago, the high/strobe/low stopped working. I went onto the website to buy a new one, and saw the "lifetime warranty, so I contacted the company. A replacement light was sent to me within 2 days. The new light, seems to be a little bit lighter in weight, but just as bright as the old one. Highly recommend this product and this company. Will buy again.

So first I am an Automotive Technician and have to use a flash light every day typically 6 days out of the week. I Got this new light 2 weeks ago and have been using it every day at work. so far I really like it, it came with 2 rechargeable batteries so one is always on the charger and you just swap them out like normal batteries. I am comparing this flash light to the HX5 which I have used for years and love. I am however used to using the special S shaped pocket clip, or what ever it is called so I can slide the light on my hat real quick instead of going and digging out my ?head lamp? when I need to go hand free from the light. So the only thing I would like to see change is that they modify this or change the design a little bit so it has an S shaped clip on it. However the clip for the HX5 works on this new light since the tube is the same diameter, but it never stays in place because of where I have to put the clip. Comparing the 2 lights the HP5R is about 3/4?-1? longer than the HX5, HP5R is brighter then the HX5, and the HP5R comes with a lot of accessories like 2 batteries, 2 different mounting options and a sheath for it. Just wish it was designed for the use of the S shaped clip.

An amazing light. extremely bright, can be focused, rechargeable, can work on aaa battery too, handy clips for wall or belt, carry pouch, includes a lanyard, and so small you can just stick it in your pocket, and it comes in colors. What's not to like about it!! Great design!!

This is the most expensive flashlight I own and it’s also my favourite. I bought the flashlight for painting night photography, to fill in gaps of lumens from my HP7 (not rechargeable. This light will become my go to. It’s a whiter light output and the high and low give me some good options. Also the focusing beam is clean where my HP7 has a hot spot in the middle when in spotlight. It’s rugged, light weight and easy to use. Can’t ask for more in my photo shoots.

I cannot say enough good about this product or the fantastic customer service provided. I had this light for almost 5 years. It lives in my front pocket every day. It quit working. I sent it in and got a full replacement package. You guys are amazing! I am a life customer now.

Have had this light almost 2 years. The end has separated on one of the rechargeable batteries but it still works. The switch failed on it so off to warranty. Easily the best little light I have ever owned. Will never buy another MagLite.

I use this light on duty and have found it be a great light in a small package. I recently purchased one for my son who is active duty military. There were not filters available for the light. I emailed the president of the company and within a week they developed them and had them for sale. Great company, incredible customer service. Thank You for supporting my soldier. We have had this flashlight for a month now and the on/off switch has failed rendering the flashlight useless. Other than that, the the high beam and low beam is very good. Personally I find the strobe feature useless.
