Excellent features
I've had mine for 5 years. There are two features that make this headlamp above others, the adjustment of the beam, and the adjustment of the brightness. I love not clicking through modes but instead turning the brightness up and down as desired and adjusting the beam to flood or spot. It's awesome.

Great Quality Headlamp!
Light works very well, adjustable for intensity and focus. The strap attaches to my hard hat securely. Customer service was outstanding. I am a happy customer with Coast!

HL-27 is the best headlamp available
With simple AAA power, low-profile powerful and dimmable LED and best in class warranty, the HL-27 is the best headlamp available. I've tried several as a movie cinema technician working in dark projection booths and the HL-27 is my "go-to tool" in my toolbox, ruggedly built and a front dimmer wheel that makes it quick and easy to control the desired light output. Truly awesome product!

My all to light
great head lamp that I use mostly for night fishing. Bright light that I can use with my hands free to tie lines and anything else I'm doing. Best thing is its just on and off without scrolling through the mifferent modes other lamps have. Just a perfect light for my needs.

Hl27 Coast headlamp
I would like to express that I’ve used this every night most of the time 48-56 hrs weekly For at least two years and this headlamp is a tough one . That said it came to a night that the hinge broke headlamp or light still working. I made contact with this amazing company due to there lifetime warranty and they did without hassle backed up their product and replace my headlamp . I only paid 6.95 for shipping or something that was it . You don’t see that kind of companies standing by their products anymore and much less as smooth processing.Wow amazing would definitely recommend COAST products to anyone. Thxz very much COAST!!!

Great product at a good price
This is the best headlamp that I’ve purchased so far. In fact I have two of them. I especially like the focussing And variable light intensity control. I had a problem with one of the lights and the warranty response was excellent.

Very Awsome

STANDS THE TEST OF TIME
Been using the HL27 daily for 6 years. Grease, hydraulic oil and some good bumps don’t slow it down. Just an overall amazing product.

Awesome product and service
This headlamp works great, it's comfortable and throws a decent beam. When it quit working after frequent usage; Coast lived up to the Lifetime warranty without hassle or delay. I can't wait to upgrade to the HL8R.

Best headlamp
I love the fact that this headlamp runs on AA batteries which give you an extended amount of runtime. You would think it gets heavy but it’s not as bad at all. Definitely do-able for long periods of time. I highly recommend this headlamp for anyone looking for a camping, fishing, professional or everyday use.

Great light output and capabilities, but you can notice the additional weight of the lamp and 3 AA batteries on a hardhat. If this was a rechargeable lamp, I could understand the weight.

Had this light for over a year. Definitely bright I love the zoom and dimmer switches. It will burn batteries definitely cheaper or rechargeable battery if you get better batteries they last longer. I used it every day in some way. Must have

I bought this light earlier this year, and I love it. Anybody that works on vehicles, or anything else for that matter, will wonder how they ever made it without one. Can't wait to try it out on a good catfishing trip.
