Perfect for what we needed

We have always used our trusty camera bag to haul all of our equipment. When we decided to take a cruise, we needed an easier way to carry our cameras while on shore excursions. We have always used our trusty camera bag to haul all of our equipment. When we decided to take a cruise, we needed an easier way to carry our cameras while on shore excursions. This made the perfect case. We also did not want to check our camera or computers. This case carried all three of our cameras, our camcorder and 4 lenses along with the various cables, batteries and filters we needed. It also stored our laptop and tablet, although it was pretty crowded in the case. We only needed to carry some things to our stateroom. When we were there, we took out our computers, a small camera and the cables we didn't need during excursions. It was nice to use as I zip lined through the rainforest in Belize and then could take my wife's pictures while she was zip lining. It was so much easier than carrying our old bag. We couldn't have taken our stuff on the excursions without it. Also our old camera bag has been retired to hold our assortment of older film cameras.

Great Outing Camera & Gear Bag

By

from Pismo Beach, CA  -  Photo Enthusiast

Needed something to carry a small amount of my camera and equipment to remote locations. Tried a small standard camera backpack, just didn't feel safe. This backpack is excellent for packing, actually, quite a bit of camera and gear. There's plenty of room for everything. Couple things I really like; 1. The bag stands up on end even when there's a heavy Canon 7D on the top. It doesn't tend to fall over easily. 2. Very easy access to grab some gear if you need to be quick about it. 3. Plenty of room for everything. I take 2 -3 spare lenses, flash unit, cleaning supplies, books and writing material, tripod, and even a bottle of water. One thing that I would have liked, the backpack has space for a laptop, 14" PC only. My laptop is a 17", so "oh well", have to work on that. Overall, this really is a great bag for the price. After a few outings, it appears to be well built, nothing fraying, nothing coming apart, zippers work nicely. I know I didn't spend as much as I could have for a higher end backpack, but I simply needed a backpack for quick outings without having to carry a huge camera bag and this works most excellently for me.

Great bag for the price!

This is a great bag with lots of room. While it has a protective rain cover, the bottom of the bag is not waterproof. I would still buy the bag again though. It is quite functional.

I'm very pleased with the size and construction of this backpack. It holds all my equipment with room to spare and is still light enough to carry for long distances.

Questions about this item:

David A  Hi are the two middle slots with bodies show have lens attached? Curious if an 18-200 on a body would fit here. I guess the dividers are rearrangeable? Neat looking set up. thanks
NANCY L  The dividers are rearrangeable. My camera body with a 55-300 fits with plenty of room to spare. I used it traveling last summer and I was very pleased with its versatility and comfort. I recommend it.
