I intially used the oils on glossy fiber based paper. The results were very subtle and you almost couldn't tell that I had even used them at all. Then I used the oils on matte fiber paper and the results were outstanding. I felt I had better control with the intensity of the tone on the matte paper. I also love that the oils blend just like oil paint.
