A Good Buy
I was very impressed with the build quality and the clarity of this filter when it arrived in the mail,... even impressed with the secure boxing so that it arrived in perfect shape. The price is good, but the quality is also good. I shoot video and stills in a lot of risky deep woods & rural locations, as well as at a variety of race tracks,... so if I drop it and break it I won't cry a lot,... but can trust the quality. It also came with a padded pouch for storage.

The Cavision 3x3" 1.2 Neutral Density Glass Filter is a solid neutral density filter providing a 4 stop exposure reduction. This 1.2 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters. The filter measures 3x3" / 76.2x76.2mm and is constructed from 0.07" / 2mm-thick glass.
