Works as described

The metal construction is nice (the Cokin filter holder is made out of plastic), but sometimes it unscrews while in use, especially if you're using autofocus and your lens rotates the filter ring.

I needed an adaptor ring. Cokin had one that fits their products. Good thing.

I use this product to hold a Cokin holder onto my Canon lens for use with ND and polorizing filters. Have had no issues and is easy to attach.

Easy to use with P Series

Works great with the P-Series filter holders and my lenses (Olympus Zuiko). Small and efficient design. Holds firmly to camera but allows easy rotation for split ND filters and polarizers.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
Gene B  Needed this to adapt my 58mm lens to the filter holder.
Jon B  How do you get adaptor for Nikon, 52mm to Microscope adaptor, 42 mm??
DAVID L  I've never done that but i know it's possible. Look for a step down ring or adapter. It will let you go from 52mm to 42mm. You might have to get a in between adapter as well i.e. 52 to 48 and then 48 to 42mm. I've seen many people do it but have never done it myself so i can't say exactly which one or set to get. But cokin series P lens adapter ring is not what you are looking for. These are for the cokin filter systems and are only threaded on one side. Also there is no difference between nikon or any other camera lens adapters that go on the from of your lens all the treads are the same. So it might help your search if you don't use the "nikon" term. Nikon Canon or Sony they will all have the same threads on the front for step down adapter rings or any other filters for that matter. Good Luck, D.L.
Jon B  Thanks: Trouble is, I can't find adaptors as small as 42. The other option is us us the adaptors I have as a hood, But I will follow your advice to see if I can find adaptors. Jon
