This filter holder works well with a standard focal length, I bought it to use on 12-24mm but it vignetted too much under 18mm. I will still use it above that focal length. Filters slide in with some effort but stay in place. Very useful for neutral density filters.

I started using the P series after purchasing a couple of lenses that my A-series Cokin filters were too small for. I was not disappointed by my selection. While I would like to be using Lee filters I simply cannot afford them at this time. The Cokin filter system is simple, reliable, well made, easy to use, and fits my budget. Now I just need to find the time to play with them more.

Simple and easy to use product. Love that I can just slide filter out of the way to focus and slide back down without moving lens. Stackable with no vignetting. Good price.

This holder is great for landscape photography when one needs to add some graduated neutral density filters to take care of the birght sky. I have the Hitech filters and they work fine with this holder. Fits my Tokina 11-16 mm lens like a charm. May even be able to use a polarizer with this lens without too much vingetting. Great addition to my gear!

Upgraded to a larger lens and needed to be able to use my old filters. Fortunately it was still small enough to use my P filters, but just needed a new adapter. Makes this a great bargain as I can still use my existing filters and don't need to buy a trove of new ones in another size to fit this lens.

I ordered the mount with the adapter ring because the image showed, what appeared to be, two brass screws, I assumed for added function. Never assume and don't believe everything you see. There are not any brass screws, it is just Cokin's basic filter mount. The mount is great and durable, but I was expecting more.

Essential for landscapes and exterior architectural work, I think, when paired with a selection of graduated neutral density (or color) filter elements. Useful for static subjects only. Be sure to get adapters for your lens' filter sizes. The holder and a couple filters can eat up a lot of space in your bag. As I recall, the instruction book was more of a catalog of available filters.

I purchased this holder to enhance my landscape photography. The filters sell seperately. The book explains the different filters available. I primarily use the holder for ND and Graduated ND filters.

I use this Cokin "P" filter holder to hold ND Grad filters and a CP. I got the 77mm with several adapters so as to suit various lens sizes. I use this set up for landscape opportunities while traveling so size and "packability" are important to me. Over time I may regret not going for the larger Filter/Filter holder sets as this size is susceptable to vignetting with wider lenses. It's possible to pay a lot more to get this function (or one could just hold the filters in front of the lens) but I opted for this well designed, durable, sensibly priced holder and it works just fine.

If you're thinking about shooting any kind of landscape or photos that involve the sky, you owe it to yourself to get some sort of filter. This filter holder seems to be made of good quality, something that appears to be durable.
