Califone Fundamental Reading Center

The Califone Fundamental Reading Center includes the Califone CAR2020 card reader and the Action Readiness, Picture Word and Phonic Fundamentals magnetic card sets. The Califone CAR2020 card reader included in this package features a 2 Watt RMS amplifier suitable for playing audio for up to 40 students.

Recording is easy with the Califone CAR2020. Teachers have full control over recording with a recording interlock switch and separate recording tracks for teachers and students. The Califone CAR2020 also includes a built-in microphone and a jack for adding an optional Califone remote mic. Make a permanent record of a student or client's progress by recording onto a blank magnetic card or plugging a cassette recorder (not included) into the auxiliary output.

The Califone CAR2020 portable card reader works in conjunction with language programs to enhance foreign language acquisition and speech-language therapies. The included preprogrammed Action Phonic Fundamentals cards offer vocal mirroring capability with consonants and vowels, picture words, rhyming words and many other fundamentals.
