Shopper : does this model have a tripod adapter?JAY B : The screw hole is covered by a circular Leupold icon. The tripod adapter from Adorama works well.ANDREW R : Unfortunately this unit does not appear to include a tripod adapter.

Good optics, but focus wheel is sticky.

The optics are sharp, but the focus wheel is skinney and hard to turn. If the wheel were bigger (and there is room to make it bigger), this would help turn the wheel, i.e. by providing more torque. Also, when the focus wheel is turned all one way at both ends, it sticks, and some areas in between are rough. But for the money, go for it; I kept mine. I wish the angle of view was a bit wider though. About the same optical quality as the Nikon Monarch ATB and significantly better than the Nikon Action.

good optics

Great optics for the money with very good low light transmission and a wide field of view which is what I was looking for. Unfortunately, I had to return them because the eyelenses do not narrow close enough for my narrow eyes; my eyes are 2-3/16" apart). Also, the focus ring is small and hard to turn.

Avoid Celestron

Their C5 telesccope was ok so I tried several pairs of binoculars. Came from the factory with major defects. (I.e. close focus, sticky focus ring)
