Great Easy to use, solid GOTO

The CG-5C is pretty much a standard in GOTO mounts for the amature. Setup is very simple with a good view of polaris. I run mine with an 8" SCT from Celestron. Pros: After practice I am able to setup very accuratly in about 10 minutes. Nav control pad is easy to use and see after some practice. Cons: Heavier than I expected but that adds to stability. Manual is lacking in terms of describing good setup technique. I watched a few youtube vids and took a couple hours one night just doing alignments and was able to master it. This mount has made my Astronomy time much more enjoyable and efficient!
