The best dovetail plate made by man. The orange paint pops like no other dovetail. I would buy more dovetails but this dovetail plate is only made to fit 8? celestron scopes. The fitment of this dovetail plate is impressive. It?s almost as if it was made to fit 8? celestron scopes. I recommend you buy 3 of these dovetail plates if you have 3 8? celestron scopes. I only have 1 celestron 8? scope so I only bought 1 dovetail plate

I plan on adding a finder scope to my 8SE OTA. The simplest route was purchasing this D-style dovetail, which fits diametrically opposite the 8SE's V-style rail. Then I flipped the OTA over, mounting the D dovetail to my CGEM II mount (which supports both styles). Now my V dovetail is ready for a finder scope!

This fit my scope perfectly. It is much more stout than i expected. I was impressed with the construction and fit of the part. I would recommend it for your scope as well. thanks I will order more from you in the future.

This is a decent extruded plate with holes in the right place, of course. It fits well on my 1990s era Fastar C8 and an older one, probably from the 70s. I expect it fits all C8s, but I only have two to try. Just be sure you don't need a Vixen bar for your mount - this won't fit.

This is a pretty straightforward product, but it is still excellently executed. Attaches easily to 8" Celestron SCTs. I have serious issues with Celestron's lack of customer service and their ability/desire to provide replacement parts efficiently, but since you don't have to deal with Celestron for this purchase, it gets a 5 star.
