I just got it and have to say, compared to my other digital microscope it is great will be even better that I can take it with me when I go to a coin shop looking for tokens. With it on board storage and the extra sd card slot. I can take photos of items to check if I have them. I will be using it to check my fathers stamp collection, when I get around to selling it off. I also wanted one that I can use in the shop with out dragging a tablet around. If you are planing to use it for tokens, coins or some other items that don't allow for it to rest on an object. it still will focus to a sharp image when raised off the surface of the item. So far the only drawback I have found is that the LED lighting is only on/off either 3 or 6 lights. It would be much better if the LED's were dimmable it would be worth the extra cost. Also the possiblity of a stand that hooks to the side of the unit to adjust the height of the lens off the table or surface for looking at 3-d objects. I haven't used the video nor I may never. But the camera is great @ the 3mp size the photo's are clear and shrap. I will be reviewing and posting the info on a number of forums since more and more the question is coming up about digital mircoscopes. I think they a have a winner!
