About Celestron

A T-Adapter allows you to attach your 35mm SLR camera to the prime focus of your telescope or spotting scope. This arrangement is used for terrestrial photography and short exposure lunar and planetary photography. It can also be used for long exposure deep-sky photography when using a separate guidescope.
Both a T-Adapter and T-Ring are required to mount a camera to your instrument.

Questions about this item:

Robert S  Will this work on an old "Orange Tube" C-90?
KAMAL PREET S  Yes, It works on Orange Nexstar 4 SE... 1. Basically if you see the configuration of your telescope it says 1 1/4, which mean the diameter of the back eye slot is 1 and quarter on an inch... this adapter has same dimension. 2. If you are planning to buy this adapter to attach your camera then you also need T-Ring with similar dimensions but manufactured for your camera This Adapter only connects to your telescope and allows to add barlow adapters etc. for having it attached to your camera , you also need T-ring adapter
Robert S  But it's not a Nexstar it is a 70's vintage Celstron C-90. I have the original eyepieces and image erecting prism, and barlow. They are all .95 not 1 1/4.
Matthew A  I have an older c90 I inherited with a metal t-adapter and nikon ring. However, the 1.25" filters I have purchased recently don't fit inside the current t-adapter because the outer casing is about a millimeter or two too wide. Will this new(er) adapter accomodate these newer filters that have threads at the bottom of them? like a UHC/LPR filter
KENDALL L  I have the Celestron Backpacker 90 with adapters for the Canon Line. I know that the adapters have to be for a specific camera model, so whatever those lens sizes are that you want to use should be the correct size to match your filters and lenses. I ordered the incorrect T-adaptor at first but got Adorama on the phone after talking with Celestron and got the proper one. "BTW" the Backpacker 90 surprised me by being able to magnify down to about 1/3 of the moon surface. Makes those craters look like they are right next door.
