These work amazing. They completely mitigate all ground vibration when I use my telescope in my rooftop/patio. The difference is huge.

Work as promised, these are almost something I would consider a must-have for larger motorized telescope setups.

It reduced the shake time on my rig. Are they worth the money? If you really need the perfect shot then they are worth it.

These are a great addition to my telescope. I tried other things like egg cartons but they don't even get close.

I observe from a third floor balcony using a Celestron 8" SCT on a Celestron CG4 mount. After my first session using the pads, I realized that I had no noticeable vibrations from people walking in the building or from doors closing as I had before using the pads. There seemed to be less shaking after focusing also. I highly recommend these. I have no experience using these on the ground.

While the pads may appear gimmicky there is a noticeable increase in stability when used. Even at 200x or higher power the field of view is steadier and fine focusing is easier to obtain.

Don't work well of solid surfaces, such as hard wood floors which is why I wanted them. Slightest touch moves everything. Be better if they had soft rubber feet instead of plastic buttons.

Works great with Telescopes, LONG Spotting Scopes and LONG TELE lenses. Only downside is you have to gather the 3 extra things when you scoot you tripod someplace else. Also helps stabilize a monpod on a boat, to dampen engine vibration. good to have one in your pocket even if you leave the tripod at home......

This really works to dampen the vibrations, the recovery time after focusing and from mirror movement on a DSLR is a huge benefit!

It works as described. Decreases the time and amplitude of the vibrations. Simple and efficient.

would have gave 5 star review but celestron need`s to put a weight limit on these pad`s, if to much weight is put on the pad`s they start to lose there ability to cancel out vibration`s and also the inner material begin`s to push out around the edge. but other than that this is a very good piece of equipment to add to your mount even for viewing, especially at high power.

Made vibration essentially disappear!
Wind, an unsteady tripod, or even an accidental bump can disturb your image quality. Keep your telescope still while observing with these sturdy pads. Simply place your tripod legs on top of the pads to absorb shock and stabilize your telescope.
Celestron's set of three Vibration Suppression Pads are manufactured using Sorbothane (available only in the USA) recognized worldwide as the ultimate material for attenuating shock, isolating vibration and damping noise. No synthetic rubber or polymer can dissipate energy as effectively. BEWARE OF CHEAPER KNOCK-OFFS USING LESS CAPABLE MATERIALS! Imitations use silicon which is low-cost, does not work well, and may melt in the sun. Similar materials used in China look and feel the same, but do not perform half as well as products using Sorbothane.
