The U-3 is pure power and strength. Made from one piece of extruded aluminum, two and one half inches deep. No light in the world can compare with it. Super durable quartz halogen lamps are capable of producing (each) at 12 volt 35W, 13.2 volt 38.5W and 14.4 volt 42W for a maximum total of 126 Watt. Add or subtract brightness and still maintain a consistent color temperature of 3200°K.

Cool-lux packages and sells the U-3 with three lamps, one gel holder for diffusion or daylight gels, the gels and the camera shoe and stud as a complete package. The MR-11 lamps come in two beam-spread configurations, 20° spot or 40° flood. We supply two floods and one spot with the fixture. Of course, you can install any combination to fit your needs.
