Overall, I am quite satisfied with this camera bag. I like the design (backpack style) that makes it easier to use than a conventional camera bag on various site visits. I like the semi-solid inside for protecting gear. I wish there were more small pockets for filters and other small items.

This is my companion when I go hiking, out on assignment for the paper I work for, etc. The hoarder in me wants to keep everything with me just in case I need it, and this fits the bill: two Nikon bodies, five lenses, a flash and a tripod. Yeah, it's heavy, but It's durable as well ... nothing has ever broken after four years of heavy use. When I get the money, I might buy a second one of these for if my bag finally wears out in five years or so. That's how great it is!

I was eagerly anticipating the arrival of this bag as it held much promise, based on product description. However, I was deeply disappointed upon receipt of product for the following reasons: - weight: empty bag alone is much heavier than expected; once fully loaded, was too heavy to comfortably take on a long trek - zipper design: zipper size/teeth for front pocket is too small for such a large pack...cannot open without snagging, and requires two hands to manipulate--very frustrating. Can only imagine problems fumbling with zipper in dark or cold. - dividers: for as much as this bag weighed, I would have expected really rigid dividers...the ones in my bag were extremely flimsy and did not provide any confidence that gear close to the sides would be securely kept inside the bag. Design of the bag is such that the sides are not the same height throughout, likely so bag can open easily like a clamshell, but this makes gear near the hinge susceptible to spilling over the sides. Would not feel secure getting hear in and out while in the field, especially if testing on uneven surface. - quality: despite the above short-comings, I wanted to give this bag a chance, but the last straw was when the threads on the side started unraveling after putting in one 15" laptop and my Fuji X-T2 for an in-town trial. My plan was to actually use it to haul a 1DX, 70-200, 16-35, 24-70, flash, tripod, and batteries/accessories...but after seeing the busted threads, there was no way I was going to take that gear out on a hike in this bag. Perhaps I had a bad version...I returned my bag back to Adorama.
