I haven't worked with many business card scanners but since my cards were accumulating I needed a scanner to automate the process of scanning in new customer/vendor contacts. This one fits the bill and seems to do a pretty good job. Unfortunately I have nothing to compare it to, but for my purposes it gets the job done.

This works well for reading simple business cards and converting the information to an Outlook Contact. The software has trouble with OCR conversion of some very tiny fonts or some complex fancy fonts. Best with normal Arial or Times Roman fonts. Also if the card has background photos or artwork, it will throw off the OCR conversion. Be sure to check all OCR conversion and correct mis-reads before they are saved.
