Extra large QR plate

Although I did buy this plate, it really was not needed with my Canon 30D with grip and w/Canon 70-200 f4L lens. The standard plate shipped with the 35 ball head had enough range to balance my camera lens combo.

For a heavier lens than mine

Although I did purchase the this longer plate,the standard plate is sufficient to ballance my Canon 30D and grip with a Canon 70-200 f4L.
