This works as described. Mount it, turn on live view and you can add a remote or flexible LCD to your canon. The problem is with some cameras (like my 7d) you need to also use the av adapter from the camera. This is clearly stated in the description and lists the cameras. What I didn't get was that this means you have a 3 foot cable dangling or coiled around the camera. Might work on a tripod, but it's useless handheld. Gigatube! It seems a alternate 8 inch line with the correct connector would be as easy to make as the one that's included (I may try to make one myself.) Or you could sell it with a different model number if you don't want to include a second cable. Or sell the cable seperatly. Good potential, but useless for me.
