Great value. Fit not so snug.
I purchased this item as a sacrificial body cap to get into DSLR pinhole photography. I was pleased that it came with no letters on the front; a clean surface to work. The downside of this less expensive, "generic" brand cap it that it does not fit snugly on a Canon body. If twisted fully tight, it remains in place, but the slightest bump or twist causes it to become very lose. I would not trust it in transport if I wanted to keep dust or damage away from the internals.

this product its not good, basically does not lock on the camera body or adaptor.

simple, does the job
This is a useful low-cost item if you have lost track of a lense cap. It fits fine, and seems sturdy. I don't need more than that from a lens cap.

Fits snugly to Canon Rebel XT body
Needed a safe way to transport camera body into the hills, as camera I purchased (used) did not come with one. This allows for tighter and safer packing with additional equipment. Minimal worries as to lens connection breaking or debris entering CMOS.

Serves its purpose
After the other reviews I thought this was going to have 'Canon' on it. Mine has EOS just stamped on the center of the cover and when it's in place the EOS is turned about 45 degrees clockwise. Those are minor nitpicks and why I gave it 4 stars. This cap does exactly what it's designed to do. [...]

Great Product
Don't be fooled by the picture, this bad boy comes with Canon's logo stamped on it. I think it is just the OEM body cap. works perfect on all three of my rebel bodies!

The info on this cap leads you to believe it's an off brand but it says Canon on it and is exactly the same as the OEM body cap....Cool!!
