I would recommend this for a small space with not a whole lot of moisure. I was trying to use it for a bathroom when taking a shower, but it isn't powerful enough for that job.

Works well in my bathroom. The bathroom no longer feels clammy when I enter it. I also use it in my sailboat to get rid of the dampness after I've been sailing.

Second one I have owned. First one lasted about two years. Does decent enough job of pulling moisture from a damp room like a bathroom, closet. Running it 24 hours, collects about one pint of water in two days or so...as a guide for anyone interested in purchasing. Not super powerful but OK for places like a bathroom. Doubt it would be effective enough in a larger room.

I bought this specifically for my basement photo closet. I've had mold start growing on leather cases before in a damp summer and I was afraid I was eventually going to have fungus on lenses. I've only had it a week, but the air is noticeably dryer and I think it has cured the problem.

The Eva-Dry Electric Petite Dehumidifier uses Peltier Technology (no compressor) which makes it light and quiet. It is perfect for bathrooms and small to mid-sized rooms where dampness and humidity are a problem. This unit is small enough to easily fit on your desk or workbench. It extracts the moisture from the air and stores it in a spill-proof reservoir.
Just plug it in and it quietly dries the air. Features an automatic shut off switch to shut the unit off when the water reservoir is full. When this occurs a "full" indicator light will alert you when the reservoir needs to be emptied. Holds up to 16 oz.
