I have one on each of my 5DMkIIIs. Lost one on the plane in Myanmar so immediately replaced it when I got home. Protects the display screen wonderfully and stays well in place usually. This is the first time I've lost one and I think I hooked it on something to lose it. clear bright optics. like the attachment point around the viewfinder. Great tool.

I've used these on both my MkIIIs and never a problem till one came off in Myanmar last week. Never found it but have ordered another one. They have been used in dirt all over the world: SE and Central Asia, Africa, etc. I can see the LCD clearly through it and the installation is simple and clear. Have not noticed any dirt or dust on the LCD screen and it fits well. Wish there was a similar well-fitting hot shoe cover.

This add-on is simple to install, works perfectly, and, once attached, is never thought of again -- except, perhaps, if you need to attach a 90-degree viewer, which I do, quckly and easily. I was continuously clearning my original screen, knowing sooner or later I'd scatch it. This cover permanently removed that concern. It's a wonderful product for a surprisingly small price. Quite frankly, Canon should've provided this protection on its camera.

Learned the hard way with my 7D, so got this on the new 5D. Good tight fit, no adhesive used and easy to install/ remove. Can't beat this at any price.

The protector is easy to install. However every once in a while it will slide to the left/right or up/down. Not too annoying, but I wish it was a little more stable.

I would have rated it a "5", except for one thing (and I still would give it a 4.5 or 4.75). What I'd change is that it would adhere to the large LCD. With a design like this (LCD & eyepiece protector as one piece), it might be hard to do, but I don't like having a gap, however small, between the protector and the LCD. I know moisture, dirt & dust will eventually work their way in. I don't know if it's possible without having two separate pieces, one for the eyepiece and one for the viewing LCD, but I'd like it to somehow adhere to the LCD. It could be done, but I know instructions would be difficult to explain so that it didn't adhere before it was in place.

This item came with my Canon 5D Mark III, and I've quickly found it to be an essential tool in protecting the eyepiece and screen. It fits perfectly on the camera, and is easy to install. Great product!

I like this better than the invisible shield due to the fact that its another layer of protection. If oil gets on the glass, it's very easy to clean.

I got this to protect my expensive 5D from any possible mishaps, it was so easy to put it on, it looks awesome, protects the LCD, keeps it clean, I LOVE IT!!! If you are wondering wether to get this or not, look at the price and.... duh! it's a no brainer, get it now!
