Analog creates suspense

I really, really wanted to get an expensive DSLR, but when I found out how heavy those suckers are, I knew I'd just aggrevate my carpal tunnel.... This Holga was something I read about before and ran across Lomography again on a digital web site and how they wanted to mimic the lomo effect. Well, one user said to just get a cheap lomo camera, and I thought to myself, "Why not?" I'm still on the learning curve. I read somewhere that if you fall in love with just one shot out of your roll of film, you'd be happy--and I am! I think the learning's the best part. The waiting for the prints to develop--it slows down life in this busy and instant gratification world we live in. Some people may not "get" the lomo and "old-looking" photos, but everyone's entitled to their own opinion! Otherwise, what a boring world we must live in... Get this Holga for fun, excitement, unpredictability and you won't be disappointed!

I'm in love with this Holga

Actually, I've never used a lomo before I bought this holga 4 years ago. My friends told me that Holga was useless. Those films are too expensive for somebody like us that time. But I don't know, my hand grabbed that camera and now I'm really in love with Holga! Just buy it, and you'll see a lot of unpredictable effect caught by this Holga. Don't think, and bring it everywhere you go.

adorable,

I've been snapping shots of everything and everybody with this little plastic lens gem and have fallen in love with it. I cheated a bit, I've constructed my own 35 mm adapter to fit my needs for the moment. And the results have been great. I see now why folks have get hooked on lomography.
