works great and is reliable. I never had any problems with it.

Atypical end-user

Atypical = I bought these flashes to disassemble them. They were inexpensive, but relatively bright. They contained no "extras" (unwanted computing/sensing/unneccessary circuitry). External and internal build is low-end at best...circuit boards appear to be handmade. Circuitry is sensitive to over-voltage/current. AA battery voltage drops with increasing current. Powering these from constant voltage source quickly burns them out.

Great Product

Great flash, with standard hotshoe to use on many cameras. dropped it a few times (the batteries make up most of the weight) and no adverse effects.

Questions about this item:

Tim W  Will this flash work with a Minolta SR1 vintage camera?
Wynne W  It should work with a vintage camera as long as it has the flash mount- it will not work with a DSLR
emily f  I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THIS FLASH WOULD FIT ON A CANON REBLE XT .. THANK YOU?
JAY B  It would fit if it has a standard hot shoe. This works on all of my film camera's.
little l  I was wondering if this worked with any cold shoe or is not battery powered? I also wondered if it has any sort of continuous mode in which i could take advantage of in filming.
NICOLE H  It is battery operated, and can be attached to a cold shoe to work with a film camera, maybe? I've used it before on a cold-shoe flash arm with my Pentax Honeywell, but don't expect it to work at all on a hot shoe or obviously with a DSLR.
