When pointed at the camera and the shutter release button on the remote is depressed, the shutter on the camera will trip, allowing the photographer to be up to 30 feet away from the camera. It can be used with single shot mode, two second delay, multiple exposures as well as bulb mode for long exposures. Supports instant and half shutter, AE/AF functions.
