About DLC RC6

Dot Line DL-0096 infrared remote release is designed to be used in conjunction with Canon digital cameras. When pointed at the camera and the shutter release button on the remote is depressed, the shutter on the camera will trip, allowing the photographer to be up to 30 feet away from the camera. It can be used with single shot mode, two second delay, multiple exposures as well as bulb mode for long exposures. Supports instant and half shutter, AE/AF functions. It can be used in many situations: Group shots so everyone can be in the picture, studio work, macro photography, low light and long exposures. Complete with CR2025 battery and instructions.

Questions about this item:

Bob S  Does it work with the 7d mark 2?
DAVID P  It works ok - but for me it was a pain in the @%&!!! o set up the camera. That's probably just me though. David Peterson
Bob S  David, I am having a problem getting the remote to work on my 7D Mark 2. I've turned on the 2 sec delay drive setting and am getting no response from the camera. What did you have to do to get the remote shutter release to work?
Mark G  Does this work with the 5D Mark III?
PETER A  I think it does but I am not certain. But that is not why I am replying to your question. This remote needs to be facing the camera in order to work. So I usually use the 2s button and get my hand out of the way. Just so you know.
