For an entry level intro to what can be appreciated in 120 Film size, I would recommend this camera. It does have terrible limitations of f-stops, only f-8 or f-11, but ALSO has an auto exposure function that should make up for it. It's "PRO's" are its great enabling of frame sizes (3), from square (good for large transparencies) to 2 1/4" by 3 1/4" large negative size. It's "Cons" are no self-timer or cable release, it's f-stop limits. It's construction of all plastic is acceptable at this price.
It does have glass lens and replaces the Brownie with modern films. Produces a 200 megapixel image. But, don't know if the battery is fresh, the back is junky and the platen and rollers are non-existent. So , plan on shooting an entire roll to be sure you get a good shot because there is no real preview. Still, My other 6x12 is about $7,000.
