  • 170-degree field of view: The heart, soul, and blood of the Fisheye's brilliance: an enormous field of view that takes in literally half of the world around you and compacts it into a nice, tight circular image. Barrel distortions twist and bend your subjects around the edges, stretch them away from your lens, & converge their lines toward center.
  • Extreme close-up potential: Get right up to their face, and watch their nose get sucked into your lens whiletheir ears and forehead s-l-i-d-e-s backwards. Sharp, beautiful pictures are possible from even the closest quarters.
  • Huge depth of field: Super-wide-angle images like the ones spat out by the Fisheye come with a wonderful bonus: focused sharpness from the front to the rear of your image. Each fisheye image shows massive depth of field, so your subject and background will be nice and crispy clear.
  • Premium glass optics: Sitting inside that massive snout are several of the loveliest optical-glass lens elements that you have ever seen. They work together in perfect harmony to give you bright colors, punchy contrast, super-blue skies, ultra-red lips, and yellow bananas like you have never seen before.
  • Built-in electronic flash: Whenever you need him, this bright little hombre is ready to light up and fire asolid burst of white. Your Fisheye pleasure is no longer limited to daylight hours
  • Sleek Goldfish embossing: Swimming off the right side of your camera is a beautifully detailed "koi" goldfish. One part children's illustration and one part yakuza tattoo - it's a real looker on the Fisheye
  • Forget the Viewfinder: Because it doesn't work anyway. With the Fisheye's massive field of view, it sees much more than any simple viewfinder or even your own eyes can see. The Fisheye truly invites you to "shoot from the hip" and capture everything from the Earth to the heavens in process.

It's a very fun camera to use, even though the flash is SUPER BRIGHT (practically blinding!) haha

Fun camera,[...]

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my younger brother, who I am helping develop an interest in photography. I already own several Lomography cameras myself, and I thought the Action Sampler would be the perfect camera to get a preteen boy interested in film-based photography. I was right; he loves it and takes it everywhere, asking people to jump around or dance for him so he can take interesting shots, catching things in motion, etc. The camera is very easy to use for a photography novice and can produce great results with little effort. I was able to find it at Adorama for a price that was significantly cheaper than anywhere else, which was also a plus.

good... when it is working

By

from Tampa, Florida  -  Professional

I bought this camera for creative shots as an additional to my other cameras and to have a different view away from the digital pro that I'm use to. I wanted something more artistic to separate the pro commercial photography I do from the artistic. The camera is beautiful, a nice design and it really funny... when it is working. I had to return this model twice. The first I bought worked for 2 shots, then it stopped taking multiple pictures and the flash wasn't working. So I returned the camera [...] I was able to shot the first roll completely, what a fun! but when I loaded the 2nd roll, I took about 3 shots and it stopped working, just as the first one (you hear only 1 click (it takes only one of the frames) and the flash never works). It made me feel really bad because I was really looking forward to use this camera a lot, but as you see, I wasn't able to. Now I don't know if I should buy a 3rd one, or spend my refund in a completely different camera. I'm really not convinced about this model.

Do you want to be amazed?

I love this as it is so much fun, and the images unpredictable and experimental. Easy to use and makes me a very happy camper!
