I do a lot of bird photography and I find this to be the perfect aid for photographing from my car. I use a 500mm super-tele and it is just like using my tripod. I strongly recommend it.

I used it once or twice to elevate the camera. It is usually in the trunck of the car when I need it , so the orignal purpose has not been practical.

I travel alot and I am found shooting from the car window quite frequently. This is a great alternative to the "Bean Bag". Good Product
