Viewer was as advertised. Came with several different adapters for different camera. I have a Nikon and the adapter was a bit tight, but only between the eye piece and the adapter. Fits on my D7200 just fine. I did try it on my D90 and it also fit. I like the fact the right angle adapter does rotate.

It fits my 5D MKIII ok. I would not want to leave it on all of the time, just the occasions where the camera is close to the ground. I am not sure it stay on if my camera were slung over my shoulder.

I use this right angle finder to focus and frame images taken through telescopes or wide angle photos with the DSLR.

I bought this item as a novelty and quickly found it is one of my go-to items. It allows me to shoot from perspectives not ergonomically possible, and I find it's on the camera more times than not! The plastic adapters have held up, but seem like they could break fairly easily, and the image presentation does take a little getting used to. Overall it's been a great product and very useful!

Just too hard to use. Sloppy fit and impossible to focus clearly. I sent it back.

Greatly impressed with this right-angle finder and especially the cost, when compared to the Canon model. In using for astrophotography, it makes focusing easier than when trying to focus through the standard viewfinder. This is a must for anyone using a telescope or any other long lens setup at any angles significantly above the horizontal.

For those of you who have bought this adapter in the past. If you still have it try all the adapters. Canon Rebel XTi owners, use the Canon 18mm adapter to mount the eyepiece. The overall quality of the adapter is right on. Though the rubber hood should be removable for cleaning of the eyepiece lens. The blower/brush cleaner only gets so much.

A great value. Great for copying or any low angle work. I was able to hook it up to my Sigma SD 14 without any problems No adapter needed, it fit right on. I am very happy with it.

I use this view finder to photograph flowers and other close up photos. I especially like that the eyepiece rotates for viewing at different angles. Very useful addition to my camera accessories and it fits both my Canon cameras!

I use it for portraits of babies and small children. It's a bit wobbly on my D300. The optics are good enough to get the shot composed, but I shoot in bursts and check the results. It's not Pro-Quality IMO, but it does what it's supposed to do and costs a lot less than Nikon's version.

While the build on this unit is not for the photographer who bangs his gear around I have found it to be well enough built to suit my needs. I don't know why the other two reviewers had trouble with loose fit but mine is solid and stable on my 350D. Keep in mind that when you add another set of optics to anything and include another diopter adjustment you have to learn to set all of the settings right or you will have trouble even if you bought the expensive brand name unit.

Unfortunately, I must agree with the first reviewer. I got this unit because I couldn't bring myself to buy the much more expensive Canon version. My main need for a right angle viewer was in macro-photography and astrophotography. Trying to get a critically exact focus on a star or the Moon with just the regular viewfinder on my Canon Digital Rebel XIi was hit and miss -- mostly miss. The little piece of plastic adapter which connects the viewer to my camera was very loose -- too loose. One night, the viewer slipped off, hit the ground, and the adapter broke. Instant useless viewer. Save your money. Get something better.

The Adorama Right Angle Finder is the perfect solution for hard to get at low angle photographs. It will also make viewing a lot easier when doing close up or copy work.
