I tend to always purchase a warranty for my new lenses. I like having the option to get the lens fixed in the event of a failure and 7 years is long warranty especially for the price.

If you want a lens or camera warranty Mack is the one to get. I had to use a Mack Camera warranty once and the service and repair were super.

This product was bought to cover the camera at an international level, I was told to buy it by the shop adviser because it was extremely helpful if living abroad, I live in London (not any small town), and there is nowhere to get the camera repaired that isn't an hour's drive away from central london. Brought the camera back to NYC shop, was told the warranty only worked internationaly... Is NYC not part of the world? not part of the intrenational world?

I was very surprised to get a 7 year warranty with my lens. I called to check ont the warranty and was very happy as to the answers I received from the warranty company.
