Loose

I bought this adapter to mount a 60mm Zeiss Macro lens onto a Canon 60D - it worked but the connection was a bit loose. It worked for a few shots on a tripod but was too wobbly to use handheld so I ended up returning it in hopes of finding an adapter with a tighter connection.

a good, solid adapter

I've had several Zeiss lenses for the Contax/Yashica mount for many years but no way to use them with a DSLR. This mount provides a solid secure way to use them with Canon cameras. A quick check using this adapter, my three Zeiss lenses, a Canon Rebel T1i and a tripod showed that the lenses worked well, the focus (manual) was reasonably easy and that infinity on all the lenses provided a crisp focus. For this combination, I would recommend it without any hesitation. A good solid adapter that does just what it is supposed to do

Worked for me.

I use this to fit some old Contex mf glass on a t2i and haven't had any problems with it. The only thing is that you need to use something hard and kinda pointy to take it off the lens if your using it to convert multiple lenses but my keys work fine.

Works Perfectly

It enable me to use a Contax 1.7 Zeiss on the Canon XTi/D400 and it was a perfect fit.

About Pro Optic Contax / Yashica Lens Mount to Canon EOS

This lens mount adapter allows Contax/Yashica (CY, RTS) to fit on a Canon EOS camera body.

Although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, or any other functions will not operate correctly while using this adapter. In this case "stop-down mode" will need to be used when metering since the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body. You can shoot with manual mode or aperture priority mode with the EOS body. Infinity focusing is guaranteed.
