No need for batteries!

We picked this one over the other "kid" cameras because you charge it by hooking up to the computer with USB cable provided. (Or you can use an iphone charger cube.) We have had this camera for over 2 years and its still working great. The biggest problem is keeping up with it but that is our kid's issue not the camera's:)

Battery Question.

It's rechargeable in camera using cable to usb port. It's fun shooting other photogs, who can't believe it's a real camera.

Pretty good photos for a toy camera!

I'm giving this camera as a gift so thought I'd open it up and charge it and give it a try. Took about an hour to charge. I took a few photos and was pleasantly surprised at how well this little toy works. Probably not good enough quality for an adult to be happy with it but certainly fine for a childs first camera. Outdoor photos are better than photos taken indoors.

TECNICOLOR CAMERA

A real conversation starter. Nobody believes it's a real camera.

What kid doesn't love Legos?

This is a great toy camera for kids. It's fun for them, but keep in mind this isn't really designed for large storage or really high quality pictures. It does it's job and fills it's intended purpose nicely. My main suggestion would be an option for added storage somewhere a kid couldn't access it easily.

David loves it

Perfect gift for a budding 7 year old photographer. He could hardly wait until the battery charged. worse than waiting for Christmas.

Awesome camera...as a novelty of course!

I am a professional photographer. I bought this for my five year old child. He figured it out in moments and absolutely freaking loves it, so that is why I give it five stars! From a photography standpoint, please be aware this is a toy and only a toy. Indoors the Flash tends to blow details out closer than six or seven feet, and frame seems to be a little dark beyond 10 feet! It is just a basic camera with a Lego Shell, and it does exactly what it needs to do!

Well... it's a Lego camera

There really isn't much good to say about the camera...but then again, it's a budget friendly Lego camera! I bought these for my toddlers to play picture taking with me and they love it. Don't expect anything memorable or even keep-able from the camera. The flash is truly horrible and just blows out the image, but without it forget about seeing anything at all in low light. Other than that one standout point though, I would say I got what I expected and so will you if you're expectations are appropriately low. It's a fun toy and nothing more. Get one for your toddler and they should be satisfied with it. I've got lots of blown out pictures of my floor now.

My 4 year old child loves it!

This is a toy camera, so do not expect stunning razor sharp images. In the hands of a child, you will definitely get a perspective you probably would not have noticed otherwise. This camera, however is tough, my little one had tossed it several times against the wall and has dropped it few dozens of times as well. I have been so impressed with how durable this camera is that I actually bought a few more for my little nephews. This camera recharges from the USB port, and that is also how you get the images from the camera to your computer. This camera does not have any removable media and it holds at least 50 images. The camera is sometimes a little slow to fire when you press the shutter button. I actually think it is a good idea because the images that my child captures are deliberate. This does not have a shutter that trips at the slightest brush of the button.

The LEGO digital camera looks like it is built completely from LEGO bricks, but it can't be taken apart. LEGO bricks can be added to the top or bottom of the camera, so kids can integrate it into their buildings and creations. But this is no toy; it's a full functioning 3 Megapixel digital camera, featuring a color 1.5" LCD screen. Take high quality photos with the built-in flash, fixed focus and digital zoom. The camera holds up to 80 photos at a time. Let your imagination go wild!
